Minutes from June 1st , 2006

OLD BUSINESS (reviewed minutes from last month)
NEW BUSINESS
Corey Roberts and Carlene Hastings won our scholarships. Essays were on “Being a hero”.
Names to be posted on the website.
John made a motion that scholarships in the future should be eligible only to youths that have at one time played or participated in the Leicester Soccer club. This motion was seconded and voted on unamimously.
Paul Mumby’s soccer camp/clinics will be considered for in the Fall.
Wildcat trip to
Fundraiser – Paul has contracted with a company on
Paul attended the WAYSA meeting. Next meeting June 20th needing counts of teams in.
Registrations on 05/30 was slow.
“Over 30” team to be put in again this year. Interest request to be put on website.
Steve Provost needs 5 cases of white paint
Steve reported that due to the rain Memorial field was cut twice the week before
Steve brought up an idea to have the coaches assist in the lining of the fields next season taking turns to even out the workload. This will continue to be discussed.
Steve brought up the idea of sheds at the fields for paint, flags, and a paint machine.
Scott brought up the topic of the Subcommittee being formed for the Burncoat fields. An LSC representative for requested. Steve will do it if he is allowed, else Paul will attend.
Sizes of fields desired were discussed.
Vote held on LSC members: Paul, Bob, Bob, John, Steve, Tom, Chuck, Ed, Brooke, and Andrew were voted in as members.
