OLD BUSINESS

Kathy -  new jerseys are in.  Will bring one existing down to get silk screen logos.

NEW BUSINESS

Kathy –  socks and balls are in for start of season

               New type of shorts to be ordered since Trevi is no longer available.

Tom  -    U6/U8 ok.  Could use a few more coaches.

Will use Nicas or the practice football field (Steve will check exact location with Carl)

Travel team season starts 04/01 – U6/U8 season to start 04/08 or 04/15 depending on field conditions

Steve – presented a pre-season list of items:

New goals for 8v8 field.       We will use 11v11 posts and move them.

New nets.                             Not needed without new goals

3 sets cornerflags                We will order 2 sets

10 cases orange (or green) field paint

Sand bags with handles discussed.  Pete will look into getting “LDH” to put sand in.

Unanimously accepted.

Fields – Memorial School for u10 – Pride Day not yet chosen.

1^st 3 weeks….no home games due to the condition of the fields.

Discussed new “LIGHT” policy for Rochdale field.  Practice and game cost from $25 to $50 per use.

Scott, Paul and Bob M. to discuss at next Parks and rec. meeting 3^rd Thursday of month.

Need to call Liz at Parks and rec. each time field is NOT used.

Coaches meeting set for 03/25 at Community Field at 12:00

Field Day set for 03/25 at Community Field at 1:00

Paul – Challenger clinics to be offered to a U8 and a U10 group.  Paul will contact Tom W.

               Contacted by WAYSA seeing if LSC is back in for the Fall.  Will discuss further.

Bob/Bob – registration openings – U10 boys and girls (a couple of openings left)

-         Coaches are set

-         MAYS meeting should be attended by coaches.  Bob will email everyone with information

Scott – Financial Report Given

               $25 not given to Booster Club for a Poker Tournament table marker

               $100 will be given for a Tee at the Golf Tournament

Chuck – will add “Field Day” notice and start of season notice on web site.

               Will link to new arbiter for parents/coaches to find their teams and cancellation information.

               Will add notice that coaching resources are available at Leicester Library (per Steve P.)

Discussion held on validity of putting in a Middle School Booster Club soccer team for 7^th and 8^th graders. (U14 teams in the Fall).  Will discuss further.
