Leicester Soccer Club

Minutes from August 5th, 2004

Present: Steve Provost, Joe Roberts, Bob Leno, Scott Rieder,  Arleen Stevens, Tom Jacobs, Kathy Boilard, Paul Belisle, Bob Meyers.

Absent: Chuck Hamilton, John Hannon

· Meeting called to order at 7:41 PM

OLD BUSINESS 

• Soccer Trak is no loner being used.  Using Soccer Trak converted to Excel for this season.

NEW  BUSINESS

· Boys teams – one U9, two U10, three U12, and two U14

· Girls teams – one U9, one U10, two U12, and one U14

· Peewees – ten U6 teams and ten U8 teams.  Maybe use high school players as coach w/ a parent as the team manager.  Peewee start on 9/18/04.

· Tom J. to get fundraiser info for next meeting.

· Traveling teams will practice and play at Rochdale Park.

· Peewees will play at lower baseball field at the Middle School.

· Unanimous vote to purchase two 8x24 goals at a price of $565 each.

· Scott R. submitted financial report.

· Picture day is tentatively planned for 9/18/04.  Peewee at Middle School and Traveling at Rochdale Park.  May move the date to the week after, 9/25/04.

· Unanimous vote to donate $250 to the Knights of Columbus.
